The Rising Artists class is designed for intermediate/older students who are ready to build skills and challenge themselves with more complex techniques. Students will experience and practice using a different art medium, style or theme each month.
For all those with a sweet tooth - during November’s classes, we’ll focus on SCULPTING 3D TREATS. Artists will experience texture in a whole new way as we create 3 dimensional cakes, donuts and more using clay and a variety of 3D materials. While these treats may look good enough to eat, projects are non-edible.
With multi-session activities and new projects every week, Art Club participants will have the opportunity to dive into each medium to learn new techniques plus have time for creativity and individual discovery. Classes will include instruction in techniques, and skills, and discussions about the elements of art.
• Classes are open to students ages 10+
• Class dates: November 5, 12, 19 - 4:30pm - 5:45 pm
Classes are drop off and pick up. Aprons are provided in the studio, but please remind your child not to wear their favorite clothing – most supplies are washable, but stains happen!
